Since Entale Safari Camp is next to Queen Elizabeth NP, you’ve got a lot to do within 30-60 mins:

Boat Cruise

Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise – 5 min away. One of Africa’s best boat rides. See hippos, crocs, elephants, and tons of birds along the channel between Lake George and Lake Edward.

Game Drives

Kasenyi & Mweya Plains – 5-10 min away. Spot lions, elephants, buffalo, Uganda kobs, leopards. Early morning + late afternoon drives are best.

Ishasha Sector

Tree Climbing Lions – ∼2 hours south. Famous for lions that climb fig trees. Worth a day trip

Chimpanzee Tracking

Track chimps in Kalinzu Forest or Kyambura Gorge, the activity goes for about 1 hour.

Night Wildlife at Camp

Hippos walk through 8:20pm-10pm and 2am-4am. You’ll also hear lions roar and elephants from your banda

Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to a wide range of bird species, making it a rewarding destination for bird lovers. Explore different habitats around the park and look out for water birds, forest species, raptors and other birds with the help of a knowledgeable guide.

Katwe Explosion Crater

Visit the Katwe Explosion Craters and discover one of the striking geological features around Queen Elizabeth National Park. The crater viewpoints offer wide views across the surrounding landscape and provide an opportunity to learn about the area’s volcanic history and local communities.

Gorilla Trekking

Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a guided gorilla trekking experience. Walk through the forest in search of a habituated gorilla family and spend time observing these remarkable primates in their natural habitat. Gorilla trekking requires a valid permit and advance planning.
